The Testing Center provides testing services to support the academic 和 professional goals of students 和 the community. 我们坚持 专业标准及指引 set by the National College Testing Association (NCTA). Our center houses seven private testing rooms 和 a computer lab with ten desktop computers equipped with speakers 和 webcams - 看到里面!

The Writing 放置 should be taken by any student who does not have a prior writing credit (SAT/ACT, 转移信用, 等.). The 大学成功数学 放置 is for students in clsp之间 和 高地 programs who are not enrolled in a math heavy 学位 program. The 亚历克斯PPL数学 放置 is for students in LCME programs who need to take higher level math courses, such as Pre-Calculus or Calculus.

Only the 亚历克斯PPL数学 can be taken online. The College Success exams are administered in person. For security reasons, a Montana Tech email is required to register for a College Success exam.

There is a one-time $25 testing fee to be paid on the day of the test or over the phone at 406-496-4250.

规则 & 程序

• Testers must stow all of their personal belongings 和 only bring permitted materials into the testing area. 
• Electronic devices are not permitted unless permission is given by the proctor or instructor.
• Testers must bring a photo ID to take an exam.
• Montana Tech has a zero-tolerance policy for academic dishonesty, 和 all testers must abide by our 行为准则.
• Parents 和 guardians are encouraged to explore our unique campus while their student tests. Testers may not leave their children unattended in the Testing Center. 
• Scratch paper must be discarded before exiting the Testing Center.

• The Testing Center is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
